TERMS & CONDITIONS

Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders and agreements made via the website www.carastudio.com] (hereinafter: "the webshop") of Studio CARA.
By placing an order, the customer (hereinafter: "the customer") agrees to these conditions.
Deviations from these conditions are only valid if confirmed in writing by Studio CARA.

Offer and conclusion of the agreement

All offers on the webshop are without obligation and can be revoked at any time, unless otherwise indicated.
An agreement is concluded at the moment that the customer places an order and this is confirmed by Studio CARA via e-mail.
Studio CARA reserves the right to refuse an order or to request additional information, for example about the customer's payment capacity.

Cancellation of orders

Due to the custom work that is delivered, cancellation of orders is not possible after confirmation of the order.
As soon as the customer has received confirmation of the order, custom production will start. This means that the customer is committed to the agreement made and has no right to cancellation.
Customers are advised to carefully consider their choices before placing the order.

Prices and payment

All prices stated are in euros and include VAT, unless stated otherwise.
Payment can be made via the available payment methods on the webshop, such as iDEAL, credit card, PayPal.
For custom products, a deposit is required when placing the order. The remaining amount must be paid before the product is delivered.
If payment is not made on time, the customer is in default and Studio CARA has the right to cancel the agreement.

Customisation and right of withdrawal

Since the products are custom-made, the customer has no right of withdrawal in accordance with article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code.
Customers are encouraged to carefully check all designs, specifications and materials before production begins.
Changes to the design can only be made after confirmation of the order in consultation and against payment of any additional costs.

Delivery

The delivery time is stated in the confirmation of the order and is an indication. Delays in delivery do not entitle the customer to compensation.
The customer is responsible for providing correct delivery details. If delivery cannot take place due to incorrect details, the additional costs will be borne by the customer.
Delivery takes place at the address specified by the customer. The customer must ensure that access to the location where the furniture is delivered is free and accessible.

Warranty and complaints

Studio CARA guarantees that the delivered products meet the quality requirements and specifications agreed upon in the agreement.
The warranty on the products is two years and does not apply to wear and tear or damage due to incorrect use.
Complaints about delivered products must be reported to Studio CARA in writing within 2 days of receipt. After this period, the right to complain expires.
If the complaint is justified, the customer is entitled to replacement goods or repair, depending on the situation in consultation with the Studio CARA team.

Liability

Studio CARA is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage or loss of profit, unless there is intent or gross negligence.
Studio CARA's liability is in any case limited to the amount that the insurance pays out in the relevant case.

Privacy and data processing

Studio CARA respects the privacy of its customers and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Personal data is only used to process orders and improve the service. Data is never provided to third parties, unless necessary for the execution of the agreement.

Applicable law and disputes

Dutch law applies to these general terms and conditions.
Disputes between Studio CARA and the customer will be submitted to the competent court.

Changes to the conditions

Studio CARA reserves the right to change these general terms and conditions. Changes apply to new orders.
Customers will be informed of changes via the webshop or by e-mail.
